So I get this "FREE" offer to see how my employment compares to others and compare my income with other professions.
So I looked at my educational background and what I would be paid if I had stayed Dr. of Clinical Psychology - Pay after 20 years or more: $ 77.90/hour. Ranging from $ 8.00/hour for a new PhD, to $ 29.28 with up to four years experience, $42.03 with up to nine years experience, and from ten to twenty years - there is only a $ 0.43 cent difference in pay to $ 42.46.
As a Voice-Over Talent (their spelling, not mine) the income ranges from $27,260 to $67,664/year. The average income is $45,205/year.
Hmmm, what did I miss here? I guess Banksey was right in saying that in our profession earning $50,000/year puts us at the head of the class.
Maybe I should have stayed a shrink... LOL

It's not a dead end job, per se, but it is quite an undertaking…
Either way, they're both a dying art… _________________ MIKE COOPER VOICEOVER |

So true. They put a fence around the cemetery near me because everyone's dying to get in. _________________ Proud member of F.U.F.F. |
