What could even be potentially offensive about someone calling themselves an "old Jew" (or an "old Catholic" or an "old Lutheran")? Just wondering...

I believe it's only dirty if you are referring to a body part. At least that's what I remember being told when I was a child. Or was it in connection with a food type. Sorry, I get so confused sometimes.

My mom said she used to think 75 was old...now that she's 82 she says 75 is much younger than it used to be. For the record, she's not offended by anything...I think that's where I get it from.
