Yes it is! ThisBus.com is owned by me and a small group of other British radio broadcasters. As it happens, I'm just back from a bracing drive in the freezing country air, in my shiny red 72-seater steed.

Yes, sightseeing tours on the bus can certainly be arranged. I'd recommend waiting for warmer weather though.

We've recently acquired our second Routemaster, and it's one that comes with its own bit of American history, in that it's probably the only London service bus to have made two trips to the US. When it was brand new, in 1965, it spent 3 months supporting a British Trade promotion in New York, Richmond VA and Charlotte NC. It liked the US so much it went back again in 1972, this time to Pittsburgh.

How cool that your bus has visited two of the places that I've lived: Pittsburgh and Charlotte. (Side note: Bob Bair, known around these parts at the Voice of Bob, has also lived in both cities.)
