VO-BB - 20 YEARS OLD!

Hello! I just want to take a moment and wish a pleasant evening to all. Deirdre has somehow allowed herself to be overtaken by my dashing good looks and has thus seen fit to welcome me to your rowdy group. Laugh

I am relatively new to the VO scene, having owned and operated various project studios for a dozen years or so, but only recently stepping in front of the microphone myself. As I intimated to Deirdre in my beg to join, I have a fair knowledge of the technical side of our business, yet I know I have much to learn when it comes to the performance.

Of course, I've joined Voice123 - hey, I have a credit card and $295, so why shouldn't I be called "expert professional master of all things voiceover" - and Voices.com. They're interesting, but (wait for it... this will be insightful...) not exactly what I was expecting.

So now I'm rambling. Don't have a question; just wanted to announce my presence to the group here. Perhaps open myself up to a public flogging (or stoning, if you're so biblically inclined); and thank everyone for offering up a forum in which I can ask for advice from my competition!

Mandy - My wife wouldn't agree with me on this, but "have you seen my mic closet?" is probably the best pickup line on Earth. Period.
