hi all...i should probably introduce myself as i have been rude already not doing so.

this might need to be posted in a different place but anyway...my name is jeff augustine and i'm a radio dude trying to parlay my "announcing" skills into a VO career someday...notice i said announcing...i'm not there yet on the commercial VO side...need more training and such so i can ditch the "radio" voice in me...tough to do when you've done nothing but try to cram as much copy into a :30 or :60 per the clients requests for many years Laugh

so i'm starting my venture by trying out the imaging thing...i've posted before asking for critiques but i've since had my demos updated (thx to Krash Creative!)...

anyway, just like to hear some thoughts and if you could "hear" my voice as a station voice. thx in advance!

Well, it sounds like you've got the laid back, nonchalant, young person, tenor range, imaging sound down....and therefore you sound like a number of your potential competitors. The thing to do now is start to distinguish yourself; how are you different or better than the others? Hopefully you will get a couple of creative clients who will write some unique copy for you and/or let you explore the range of your delivery talents so you have something extra special to put into future demos.

You didn't ask for a commercial demo critique so I won't give one, but I will ask you to think about this: what's up with you and the letter "S"?

Rock on young master Luke.
