Anyone know of a good press release service? I'd appreciate a free one, but i suspect you get what you pay for with these things. _________________ Jeff

Are you talking about someone to write the press release? or to get it to the media outlets you're trying to reach?
I write my own, but ask for the help of a professional writer to look it over. Then I call the newspapers/magazines in the area who might have even the slightest interest and ask if I may fax or email them a press release. Then I do the Philip Banks thing of calling back to ask if they have received it.
That's it! _________________ DBCooperVO.com

distribution. I know there are places like PRweb.com. Just wondering what everyone else uses. Thanks for sharing your tactic. _________________ Jeff

not an answer to your question, but a (helpful?) hint --- write in AP style, use pull quotes (including yourself) and send a picture.
happy marketing! _________________ "i know philip banks": todd ellis
