The next Voice Over International Creative Experience is apparently on the books.

James and Penney are announcing in an early newsletter today that they are planning it for Los Angeles in 2010 around March/April.

All I know is VOICE 2007 and 2008 were worth every penny (heh).

Here's the verbatim of their announcement:

VOICE 2010

As promised, we are very proud to announce we will be producing yet a 3rd VoiceOver International Creative Experience (VOICE)!!

The tentative dates are March 31 through April 3, 2010. We are currently in negotiations with the hotel, so we can't announce the exact location yet, but we can say the VOICE 2010 conference will once again be held in Los Angeles - the heartland of the voiceover world. The hotel is giving us some great discounts this year which will be passing on to you!

They skipped it to better prepare for 2010 since 2008 was toward the end of the year.
