Hey everyone!

I am so happy, I finally got myself a BOOTH! Oh, my god! It is awesome! 4x6 WhisperRoom, double-walled!

http://www.russianvoiceoversplus.com/images/Booth%20Inside.jpg

Please do not ask how much LOL..... Many of you will probably tink I fell from a tree or something....... just really wanted it, wanted it fast.. and did NOT want to search forever.

Oy... we live once. I wanted it so I got it... eventually (hopefully} it will pay off. For now, I am enjoying sitting in there LOL... I am so crazy about it, I wanted to sleep in there last night LOL

Peace!

Balky,

I bought a 4x4 Whisper Room last year.
It was nerve-wracking because it was expensive. But they are quality booths.
It significantly improved my acoustics, and has pretty much paid for itself since then. Congratulations!

Oh guys, thanks so much... it was a nightmare to get 31 boxes off the truck and to the 9th floor...t hank god there were two of us... but still could've used a couple of more hands...

then, it took about 2 days to put it together!

I had read prior about these booths, I ordered bass traps and additional foam... so, it sounds so nice and clean!

Geez, I must be crazy, the other night before going to work instead of going to bed, LOL I was walking in and out and around the booth... I felt like sleeping in it LOL

I can't believe I have it. and YES, it still has the smell of a new booth... that smell is so familiar to all of you... smell of recording facility, studios... smell of fabric...

I feel so inspired now... god give me lots and lots of work.... LOL

I can imagine how nerve-wracking... I paid 8,453.00 for it... Is it nerve wracking? Hell yeah!

May your new booth bring you many $$$. I must admit I never realized how many of the city sounds I used to block out until now when I'm trying to record.

Oh boy, You will not believe how lucky I am to live between two hospitals and a fire station, JFK Airport, the road and a parking lot below and the subway line right out my window!

I've got it all! GEEZ!

Every 10 minutes a train passes by, ambulance, fire tracks plains, cars and busses, grbage collectors, you name it!

Man, I nedded the damn booth!

The funny part is, even if I lived in the deep woods, I think I would buy one anyway LOL It is facinating to have it at home. well, I gave up my bedroom, but hey, we always make sacrofices... every day. Thath's life!
