If you are using MCI for ISDN long distance and have issues with Long Distance the following number will get you to the proper Long Distance Repair Dept.

1-800-444-1111 when it answerers select prompt 1 then 2.

I'm having problems with drop outs and was unable to determine if I had a 64kbit circuit.

When I called customer service for MCI they told me as they have told others " MCI does not carry ISDN LD".

They were kind of right. MCI was bought by Verizon and now the MCI ISDN traffic is maintained by Verizon Business.

I called the above number and they created a trouble ticket.

Their technician called me and we did a test call to TELOS and he monitored it. He determined that MCI/Verizon was working correctly at 64kbit.

This morning the local TELCO tech came and discovered that 3 of 6 T1 lines from my area remote were not working. They are now working on that issue

Wow- great info! I switched from MCI to Sprint after one too many tech told me they no longer support data lines. I'm glad you were able to figure out this number, and ulimately what the issue was. YAY!

Kara I know your pain.

Even my local Telco Tech was under the impression (from MCI) that they did not support ISDN 64Kbit.

One thing I learned in my quest. AT&T and Sprint charge more than MCI. Now I don’t know what Verizon will do. I hope they keep it low.

I saw that in a Telos document and Bob Souer likewise found out how much AT&T charges compared to MCI

Also in my searching I found out the name of a "GO TO PERSON" at Verizon. If any one needs him let me know. He asked not to publish his number.

He has an affinity for Voice Over
