I like that one Tina. A real workout. I usually go with the "She sells seashore"... twister; or the one about "many men must munch much mulch...".
There are tons of them out there, so it's good to get this one from you to add to the mix!

When I go to sessions at other studios, especially first sessions of the day, my warmup often goes something like this, and this is with big stretching of the lips and facial muscles:
"Oh damn, I'm two minutes away from the studio and I haven't warmed up yet. Mee, myy, mooh, mooo. Hello, I'm your friendly rich voiced annooouuuncerrr. Hmm. Sounds O.K. to me."
I then cough vigorously a couple of times to make sure I've got the phlegm out of my throat, and then I open the car door and go in.
Transcripts are available. Just PM me.

I'm a big fan of Theopholus Thistle:
Theophilus thistle, the successful thistle sifter,
While sifting a sieve full of unsifted thistles,
Thrust three thousand thistles through the thick of his thumb.
Now, if Theophilus thistle, the successful thistle sifter,
While sifting a sieve full of unsifted thistles,
Thrust three thousand thistles through the thick of his thumb,
See that thou, while sifting a sieve full of unsifted thistles
Thrust not three thousand thistles through the thick of thy thumb.
Success to the successful thistle sifter! _________________ Jeff

Something that I picked up on this here forum was to read a script while holding a wine cork between my teeth. It does a great job of stretching out the right mouth muscles and improving articulation. Do it for just a minute or so. I also always use my Neti Pot before any sessions or important auditions, which really makes a world of difference.
I also on rare occasions use techniques from an old acting book (The Voice Within? I forgot the title). Using these techniques within earshot of unsuspecting bystanders may result in a panicked phone call to the authorities and a visit from men in white coats armed with very large butterfly nets... Things like repeating "good blood, bad blood" slowly at first, then faster and faster....
I'm fortunate to have been not locked up so far. _________________ Best regards,
