This portable unit is a super clean front end for your expensive condenser microphone, ideal for traveling.
Sound Devices MM-1 Portable microphone preamp with headphone monitoring.
Ruggedly designed for field use, runs on just two AA batteries for 8 hours, supplies true 48V phantom power or 12V T power, very quiet mic preamp with stepped gain control, two position bass roll-off switch. Perfect for a portable recording system where a clean front end is paramount; a great front end to the Mbox, for example, for those stuck with using Pro Tools.
Works Perfectly, but shows some signs of use (as clearly seen in photos). The chain that connects the battery lid to the unit broke, but I am sure it could be fixed easily.
I am asking $260, shipped to the 48.
