So, did you ever wonder what people search for on Google when they can't find things around the house? Now you know. _________________ Be well,

I searched "Who is Bob Souer"? There were 14,900 hits. Who knew Bob was so popular.

This reminds me just a tiny bit of the game we played in the earlier days of Google (oh so long ago) and that was to see if you could enter two words that would yield just one result. It used to be fairly easy, but now that people are putting whole dictionaries online it's a bit harder....but I just tried it and found one pretty quickly...
Zyzygy gets 7,200 results, Aare gets 2,870,000, but put the two together and you get just one:
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&safe=off&q=zyzygy+aare&btnG=Search
Fun for when you're really bored, or really distractable.

I have a co-worker who uses Google to pull up links to sites he already knows.
For example, to get to YouTube, he'll type "youtube" into the Google search bar in the browser, then click the link for the top entry when the search results page appears. He does this for LOTS of sites, searching for them on Google by their domain name, rather than just entering the domain into the address bar. I've worked with him for years, and he's always navigated that way. I keep thinking that he will eventually see how pointless the extra step is, but that day hasn't come yet. _________________ Justin S. Barrett

That's a little like dialing 4-1-1 and asking for the number for Directory Assistance. _________________ Lee Gordon, O.A.V.
