Does anyone else look for VO work there? I've tried it for a few months and I constantly get underbidded. What are these guys working for, free paper clips?

If it's only a bout the price, then steer clear or you might find yourself lowballing yourself just to compete. Offer quality at your rates and you'll probably land some gigs.

I'm definitely not compromising my rates, but I'm just wondering how long I should keep at it there.

i've done some "hiring" through elance - mostly web stuff - VERY heavy on the "outsourcing" - lots of near-east individuals & companies. not a criticism - but an observation.

I paid for an Elance membership for a year...and made $125. Way heavy on super-low budgets and underbidding. Not worth the time or effort.
