This morning we had a mega TV promo session which if you include the alt tags amounted to 142 scripts. We were in mid-flow when another client called.

"HELP! I know we said 1pm but ....." it was the usual story of moving deadline.

TV promo producer suggests we take a break for a few minutes so I can help my client who was in a mild state of panic, to be honest she was near lift-off.

There are some really nice people around and I thought it was worth mentioning.

I love that!

A couple of years ago I ran into a similar situation, only I was at one studio recording a TV show and was called by another studio for a VO 'emergency'. They were happy to put on the breaks for the 30 minutes it took me to drive over, record, and drive back. Yes, folks in this biz can be mighty accommodating!

Thanks, Philip! It's great to read stories about the good guys. Smile

I was chatting w/ one of our audio engineers yesterday who had tales of client anti-etiquette that just steamed me. I'll save that rant for an other thread, though.
