I didn't know if this affected everyone, but today I got an e-mail from voices.com apologizing for having still not sent a payment that was due to me 11 days ago... said they were in the midst of a "Paypal audit". Anyone else get stuck by this??

I have not... and my check actually came much earlier than I expected. Sorry to hear you're having trouble, but my guess is they'll be on top of it.

While we're on the topic of jobs and voices.com (sorry for the threadjack, but since you guys have received work, it seems appropriate to post here), I have a question for you guys.... b/c I'm afraid I'm just missing something and not doing something correctly.

You know how when you get a job offer email, it has the Job# referenced in the subject line? I have found that the only way I can locate the Job# in the list of Jobs is to click into EVERY job into it's "Job Detail"... that's the only way I can find the job. For me, the Job # is not listed in the Job List. It's extremely time consuming to click into every job that I've auditioned for to find the one I received an email about. Not to mention, for me, the site is very slow, so it takes a few seconds for the details to come up. Very time consuming all around.

I just sent them an email about this yesterday. Anyone else have this issue? Or am I just missing something??

First, thanks for the reassurance that everyone else is getting paid, albeit perhaps by a slightly different method than expected! My impression of voices.com has been a very good one since I signed up with them, and I was surprised when I got the e-mail about the delay - they seem to really have their act together.

Caryn,
If memory serves me correctly, once I get the "you've been awarded a job" e-mail, there's a link on the bottom left side of my "account" page @ voices.com under JOBS called FINALIZING. This should only display the jobs you've been awarded, so you don't have to sift through dozens of "answered" jobs to find the one you're working on.

Oh yeah, I forgot about that Dave. But sometimes people award me jobs without using SurePay, or they email me with questions regarding the audition, and in those emails, a link to the job is not given, I don't believe.

Guess what I just learned??!!

You can search by Job # in the search box at the top of the list of jobs. D'oh!!! I didn't realize that. FYI to anyone else who's encountered this.
