Nice morning, a few MOH jobs then a narration.
Just completed an hour's worth of narration. Excellent. I'll save the file and grab some lunch to have whilst I edit, me thinks...I listen to the file and ...
NO!!! I forgot to change the settings from 8hz,8bit U-Law back to 44.1/16 bit PCM. ARG. Oh well...quick lunch and start it aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaallllll over again.
Still beats workin for a living. _________________ Moe Egan

Happened to me last week. Did some eLearning with Mp3 specifications at 128 K stereo. Then I had a paralegal tutorial narration to do afterward in mono. Just kept narrating along and then realized Audition encoded that job at 64 K. Not a happy camper. New habit: double check options between jobs calling for custom settings. _________________ www.voiceoverdrew.com

Awwww. That bites. I run a back up so that I don't have to kick myself in the butt for making that mistake. Unless I forget to run the DAT player and then I kick myself anyway.
BTW, I almost called you this morning to get the proper pronunciation of ostfriesische lufttransport but then my session got moved up and I just went with it. Still not sure it's right but...shrugs. _________________ 006 member of the Sisterhood of the Traveling Mic. Bonded by sound.

Bob- the second go through was smooth as silk...which made editing oh so much easier. So I chalked up the lost hour as a "run through" That's my story and I'm stickin with it!
