It's the beginning of your "shelf" as they say in the book business. Congrats!

Thank you all. You're all so wonderfully supportive. While I haven't see any downloadable "samples" yet at the retailers, I've created a small audio sample out of one of the stories in Volume 1, which was one of my faves. The cool part was there were so 10 completely different stories each by a different female crime writer ( thus, the "Sisters") and so many creative characters. I even got to use some of my basic skills at speaking Italian, playing men, as well as women. A wonderful experience.
The one place where I know it's available (retail) is here: http://speakingvolumes.us/detail.asp?pid=96
Here is just a small snippet from "Steak Tartare", a story about a classic deception between lovers. I think I enjoyed it so much because the story took place in the northern burbs of Chicago, an area I am quite familiar with.

I just completed reading Volume 2, which is another set of 10 stories, coming out most probably this summer. [/url] _________________ Bobbin Beam
