VO-BB - 19 YEARS OLD!

Part of the ceiling in my office collapsed on my head. Reaction time was good so I managed to Karate chop the biggest part away from my face and body.

****ing hurt! Well it would, it's a ceiling.

Funny old day!

I had a friend's ceiling collapse on me when I was much younger- I still have the scars! Ceilings DO hurt- and I'm glad you are ok! Just don't hesitate to go to the doctor should you have any doubts...

Thing about Philip's house is that it probably was a chunk of something very hard, old and heavy! Now I've never been to his house like some other's on the board, so I could be wrong, but I get the impression that everything around there is very solid.

same thing happened to me in a radio station - whole studio ceiling came down on me ... with an open mic ... with an electrician on top of the lot.

definitely something you don't expect to happen when you start your day.

Sorry to hear about the accident, Philip. Here's hoping that whatever injuries were sustained will mend quickly, and that the house can get mended soon, too.
