Hey, Bear! (Is that the name you prefer to go by?)

The main thing that sticks out is that all of the pieces have a very "announcery" feel to them. All the read styles sound pretty much the same, even though the background music and subject matter are changing. The only one that sounded slightly different was the first piece, but it was mostly just a difference in pitch, and maybe speed. The underlying style felt the same as all the rest.

It sounds like the copy you've got has good variety (to my ears, anyway). To make that copy work, there needs to be matching variety in the delivery of each piece. Work on a more relaxed, natural delivery, and polish your acting chops so that you can deliver a performance for each piece that best matches the style that the piece calls for.

thanks Justin, yes Bear works, Always nice to get another set of ears to listen. I actually am going for the announcer thing its kinda what I do. I used to do a lot of crazy deliverys, character attempts, but there are so many that are so much better, I thought I better stick to what I do best. I do agree I should get a couple examples of a little different inflection/pace I hopefully will have my network promo demo pack done this week that hopefully I can also get feedback on. Just my thinking in an out-loud sort of way... I understand the "announcer-ish" read, however, there is a huge difference between a radio announcer and a VO announcer.

Getting rid of the "radio" in you will help with your presentation.

I'm having trouble accessing your demo, so I can offer no critique. But I can offer this bit of advice....radio is NOT the career you want to 'jump into' NoW ..professionals with decades of experience and resumes as long as your arm are being shown the door on a daily basis. It's also not a career you can usually just stumble into - that's the very rare exception.
