During the course of a session you'll make a few mistakes and probably tease and have fun to make things trot along.
During an ISDN session with a post production studio in London today the sound engineer was very efficient at trimming audio, stop and starting and editing.
"Oh no this isn't good" exclaimed Dan the promo producer for the TV station. He saw Chris the sound chop something I said. "We keep those bits and use them as ring tones". |

Hah!
I had one client ask me to do a second take on a TV spot, only this time "in the youngest voice imaginable". He then put that audio to video and took it to the head honchos for approval. I heard later there was complete silence for a good 30 seconds before he said, "gotcha!" BTW- the client was a bank- and the audio they ultimately used was in my 'big girl voice' _________________ Threadjackers local 420

I wish I could find the tape of a former colleague of mine doing a spot for an airline promoting its fleet of new Fokker turbo-props. _________________ Lee Gordon, O.A.V.

I keep some on file here and share them when it seems right. I sure wish I had the ones from 11 years ago from some industrial vibrator company on hold session. _________________ 006 member of the Sisterhood of the Traveling Mic. Bonded by sound.

Nah, Todd. I think they're Jerry Orbach's.
