Keep an eye on this storm over the weekend. Won't be a direct hit but it's looking like it could tear the coast up (70-80 mph winds). DB, got a generator?

FWIW, we've been having tremendous thunderstorms and colder than average temps here in the nosebleed section of the Rockies. Today's clear, but for how long?

I can't say I'm missing those hurricanes though. good luck in Boston!

I've canceled our plans to go sailing but we may still go to the marina to swim in the pool on the nicer of the two days (and maybe clean out the boat). I don't think we'll really know how bad it's going to be until it's closer.

We're in such hurricane territory that the huge gated rich community here is called Landfall! My house is about a mile or less from the coast, in fact at the end of my street is the Intracoastal Waterway. Which reminds me - need gas for the generator - haven't had to use it yet but good to have. Wonder if I can run enough power to cut spots and keep internet on! Laugh

Please send any excess rain our way. 2nd or 3rd day UPS or FedEx is just fine, even Ground. Heck, you can ship up to 70 pounds of it in a Post Office shipping box for just a few dollars.
