...the word "presentation"
I'm in the middle of a narration & realized that I had said it two different ways....and decided obviously to be consistent & say it the same way throughout...but I wondered which pronunciation you guys preferred?
PREE-sentation - like "Pre-" as opposed to "Ante-"
or
PREH-senatation - like "Present"
Just wondering!

So you my dear, it seems to me yo are going with option 2? - which is the one I went with as well! _________________ Liz de Nesnera O.A.V. ~ Livin' The VO Dream!

Cool...You guys rock!
Option 2 was my first instinct as well...but after you say the words 10 times each....you start to wonder! _________________ Liz de Nesnera O.A.V. ~ Livin' The VO Dream!

Which does the client prefer?
I always ask the client for words like data, route etc. Maybe I should add presentation to the list. _________________ Moe Egan

Both are acceptable. But I always learnt it (I had to do that) as option 2. Short e.
I've heard a lot of people use the long e...drives me madacasgar. |

I'm with #2, too. It's right up there with data & details. I have to keep a list of which clients like it said which way so I don't bewitch myself. _________________ 006 member of the Sisterhood of the Traveling Mic. Bonded by sound.

My producer at WBZ makes me say de-TAILS which I hate. I'm a DEE-tail kinda gal.
I thought he was going to succumb to apoplexy when I emphasized the 2nd syllable in the word "exquisite".
I keep a list in my head for that man, believe you me. _________________ DBCooperVO.com
