I've just worked it out. Because of my work as a TV announcer one of the things I bring to the table for clients and producers is over 6,000 hours of LIVE TV experience .............
Impressed? No, thought not. Neither is anyone else. |

I have tens of thousands of hours of TV experience.
Oh, you mean being on TV, not sitting in front of it.
Never mind. _________________ Lee Gordon, O.A.V.

In effect that's all I did for a lot of the time although I did get very good at paying attention without really watching.
Live TV continuity announcing equipes you for something and if I ever find out what it is I'll let you know. |

Conversation goes something like this....
Philip's Agent; Philip I told the client that you've done over 6,000 hrs. of Live TV. But the client said that he needs to hear you read His Copy.
Philip's Response; X rated, not printable on this board.
I don't want Philip to have to stand in the corner. |

Yes you must. It's what you bring to the table that few people have or anyone can teach. |

I bring thousands of hours of puppeteer experience.
I talk through the variety of stuffed animals my wife has on our bed. They even insist on watching football.
I continue to work on this even when no one else is around. _________________ Try to imagine a world where there is no such thing as hypothetical situations.

I've not been impressed with me as a vo for a long time now (love my job but I'm not saving lives here) so does that mean I can officially be unimpressed by you?
I'd still have a crush on you, of course _________________ 006 member of the Sisterhood of the Traveling Mic. Bonded by sound.

Being unimpressed is part of my standard T&Cs subject to the Gstaad International Underwhelmed Scale of -4 to -8.
The crush is also in order at a rate not exceeeding 27lbs per square foot or metric equivalent*
