Last night the homeless charity Moray Fresh Start held a cheese and wine party. As all retailers were poverty stricken I thought I'd supply the wine and cheese.

One of the popular cheeses amongst the guests was Wensleydale and Cranberry. The perfect girls cheese as it's creamy (don't mention calories), not too strong and will sort out any "water infections".

"Men were eating it too!" protested Mrs Banks.

That may have been the case but if they ate it for 3 days in a row they would suddenly insist on sitting down with their partner to discuss their relationship to say nothing of the urge to buy a pair of shoes they know full well they will never wear.

Have you ever noticed that ..... I know stuff?

Where do you get Wensleydale that's creamy? Whenever I get it, it is always quite crumbly. I had never actually heard of Wensleydale until I saw John Cleese mention it in the Monty Python "Cheese Shop" sketch. I them made it a point to try to find some of the stuff and now I love it, although I prefer it plain, without all the cranberries or lemon peel in it, and it is harder to find sans fruit in these parts.
