Jeffrey,
Well done. In a couple of months you probably won't remember the details of this little incident, but leaving a good impression or a bad impression with someone lasts a LONG time. _________________ Be well,

Not to beat a dead horse, but I was thinking about this more last night and this morning.
That guy can run his business how he wants to, and it's not really up to me to tell him how to do it. And likewise with my business.

I'll say little about the topic but this: he got a bit of a tongue lashing from one source he was using to allegedly build a database of talent, to allegedly exploit. Reportedly, he was indignant when called on it, but put in his place, too, and presumably will avoid the misleading verbiage he's relied on to pique interest.

Even though I am brand new to this site, I just would like to put in my 2 cents and say "well done!" to everyone in this particular discussion for the restraint that they have displayed and for the support that you have shown here for your fellow professional(s).
Well done, VO-BB.
I'm prouder now to be a 'member'!
BTW - I, too, sent my demo this morning and was 'accepted' by them this very afternoon. Until I read your posts and read their 'contracts' and their 'fees', I was ready to get on board.
Now? Well, now I've... reconsidered, shall we say?
Thanks again, Gang.

While there might be a pertinent bit or two of info in this thread, it is 10 years old and mostly bygones.
Just a reminder to not dig up old threads and post to them thereby re-posting the whole thing. If you find a nugget in an old thread, start a new thread and then post a link to the old thread so those who care can go back and research it.
My thanks for keeping it fresh, my friends!

That's true Todd. In 13 years now we've actually lost a few members over the Rainbow ISDN bridge*. Maybe we could resurrect a few threads of the theirs.... but that's beginning to sound a bit tacky. OK, idea proposed and axed all at once.
