Maybe this should be posted under GEAR, but anyway: has anyone started using it? Any issues? I remember Vista had some with sound cards, etc. I still have XP Pro, and it ain't broke. But my bro-in-law works for Microsoft and can get 7 for me REALLY cheap. _________________ "When I was your age, we had to dial to get online"

i'm all about the "if it ain't broke" policy ... i have 7 installed on another partition and can boot to it if i choose - so far i haven't had time to test it out - probably will soon, though. _________________ "i know philip banks": todd ellis

I've been using 7 Ultimate evaluation for a few months. A few issues with using recording programs and trying to play on media player during the session, but for most VO's it shouldn't be a problem. I report news and play sound clips during my recording so it was a beeezitzch finding a workaround. I love 7 Ultimate!
p.s. I love deals on Windows 7 Ultimate from brothers-in-law...wink wink nudge nudge dont cha know _________________ Does life start at 40? |

I've upgraded at work to 7 Ultimate and haven't run into any serious problems with it. I've had to reinstall a program here ( F Creator), tweak a setting there. Overall, though, this has been a good experience.
I would recommend that you check with the software companies to see if their products work on 7 as-is before taking the leap. _________________ Greg Littlefield
