Thanks to the ad agency acting for The North Face who make "snug as a bug" clothing. There will be 3 places in the USA where people will hear my voice on a commercial.
1- Where there are mountains
2- Where there is snow
3- Where there are mountains and snow
4- There is no 4th place. |

We've had some snow already and we're sure to get more. Our mountains are probably mountainous by UK standards but are scoffed at by those from the Rockies or the Alps. Nevertheless, I'll keep my ears peeled. _________________ Lee Gordon, O.A.V.

Thanks for the heads up.
I'll be listing for you when we have snow on the Saura Mountains.
They are the only mountain range that rises and fall within one county.
Some time in Jan I will scan the airwaves listing for you. Take care _________________ Esse quam videri "To be rather than to seem"

Congrats. I'd love to hear your commercial even though we don't have any mountains or small hills for that matter in Cambridge. |

Well, it's a pretty good bet we will NOT hear you in Florida. Darn.
Though, I did hear you a couple of weeks ago, Banksey, on a Range Rover commercial. Your lovely voice stopped me dead in my tracks. I've always wanted a Range Rover, and you convinced me I needed one. I can drive it over the fake rocks at the dealership. _________________ Caryn Clark... The Hip Chick Voice!

If you don't particularly need a car the size of Woburn Abbey then the LR2 (called Freelander2 in the UK) is well worth a look. We've had one for a couple of years and like it a lot.
We have owned a Range Rover and were we to buy a new one then it would be the 5.0 V8 Supercharged Autobiography, cost? $130,000. Bargain! |
