They show that spot here in New England, too!
We loved it. _________________ DBCooperVO.com

Just saw it here this morning. She did a great job!
I remember when that round of auditions came through,,, there was one for a Jersey sounding tree branch too.

The Jersey Tree branch aired in the fall here, just before the pothole one.
I thought both are really clever & well done.
There's also the one with the Russian Pipe which is funny.
What's interesting with Geico is that they seem to have several very different branding/ad campaigns going, and yet they all seem to work for them.
There's the gekko, the tree limb/pothole types. the googly eyed money, and then of course the cavemen and the celebrities (Don R.I.P.)
I think of them as the Madonna of Car Insurance: They change their look, but are still successful.
So what's the "branding" there? _________________ Liz de Nesnera O.A.V. ~ Livin' The VO Dream!

Those are fabulous spots. Great job by the talent. Once again, I am just happy to have been able to audition for them. And - after hearing the spots on the air - I know I was in the game. _________________ Playing for a living...

Connie, I feel the same way!
I love the Geico pothole spot.
Liz, 15 minutes could save your 15% or more on your car insurance is the message that's consistent, I believe. Whether that's "branding" or not... I dunno. _________________ Caryn Clark... The Hip Chick Voice!

I have this vision of doing a viral video of a bunch of cavemen sitting around a campfire -- roasting a gekko. _________________ Lee Gordon, O.A.V.

Love the FVO. Shows the standard of performance that's possible from an actor as opposed to someone who simply says they are an actor. The MVO is a bit same old, same old. |
