Checking out the Rolls CL151 GLC.
For $90, this thing "looks" like a steal. Anyone have any hands-on?
I am most curious about the gate, how well it works for voiceover.
It's Achilles's heel seems to be it can only provide +12V Phantom power. _________________ If it sounds good, it is good.

I don't have the CL151, but I have one of their headphone amps, and its really good value for money. Nothing special, but does its job well. Judging by their reputation I'd think the rest of their products would be the same. _________________ Mandarin Chinese Voiceovers & Localization

What's the point of 12 volts? To power an effects box ?
A car battery is 12 volts.
Dunno if that means anything. _________________ DBCooperVO.com
