Anyone using a Level Pilot for volume control? I've got mine between my RME ADI-2 and monitors...but am getting static whenever I turn the volume knob. I upgraded my analog out cables (to Mogami) but still noisy. Any ideas?
There's only noise when I turn the knob.

I am thinking it's a dusty knob. I would try using some compressed air to blow under the knob to remove any dust that may be causing the problem.

Wow! That did the trick! Blew air in the gap under the knob all the way around and no more crackling now. Cool! Thanks much!
