Hey everyone!
It was terribly cold in NYC on the 5th - rain snow... but I managed to get to the event. Even though I did not get a chance to socialize with anyone as I didn't know anyone... still was fun to hang out amongst you all

Wow Deirdre...you left just after me. I left at 8:55pm. I guess I have become an old fogey because it was just a bit too loud and close in there for my taste. I am glad though that I left when I did because the roads were slick the closer I got to home (just got in a few minutes ago).
It was such a blast getting to meet all of you guys...it was indeed the highlight of my weekend...even better than winning Liz's Snow ball...although that WAS pretty cool.
Thanks again for letting me hang out with such a fine group of people!

We came at ~19:30 and left 20:40
So, Deirdre I didn't know your number 
Plus it was so noisy there you would not have heard anything...
Lizzy, was there too... I couln't find her either..... and those name tags with red names on white... in the dark I couldn't see what it was LOL
The names should've been larger and BLACK !

It was great to finally meet you all! Thanks for all the fun...Pam, Dave and Bob...enjoyed the meal at 7A...and Bob, thanks for the ride. 'Bout ready to catch the flight back to Oregon. Next year I'll take a few says off and be a real tourist!

Balky, I think that perhaps the 'official' photographer at the event took a picture of the two of us. Like passing ships in the night, he grabbed two people, put them together, took a picture - was that you?

That 'official' photographer is our own Diane Havens hubby he does a great job can't wait until the slide show is up

Hey all... just got back from NYC last night (Monday) and am just now checking in. I left sometime after 9, had a blast while at the party, and my voice is now mostly healed.
It was sooooo good to meet y'all there and I again thank our hosts for lettin' me in at Liz's insistence. Wonderful!

Such a treat to meet you all!
Yes, John took those photos at Mr. Sheppard's request. They should show up soon -- but it's in Ember's hands now -- her camera. I spoke to Erik this morning and he's sorting through the hundreds of them as she sends them to him.
I've been stealing others' pics as they are posted on facebook. So many warm smiles -- lovely!
