"Stressless recliner".

I'd take "when we return to the line" any day over that one.

That's mega-icky fer shure...but what was the complete sentence?

I can read that, but only using my gimmick of smiling (but not emotionally) and exposing my gums on "stressless"...then going back to usual mode on "recliner" that way my mind and mouth separate the words and it all flows.

"you’ll receive $200 off of the Stressless recliner of your choice"

Maybe I'll try that next time. I don't want to say it ever again until the next sale ad comes out.

Two of my pet peeves in one partial sentence:
1. "receive." What's wrong with "get?"
2. "off of." The "of" is superfluous. Get rid of it. (Alternate pet peeve: "$200 off on ..." Well -- is it off or is it on? Make up your mind.)

Just to be clear, I am not holding Mary responsible for any of this; it's the semi-literate (usually) media sales people who churn out this dreck.

Lee, the client wrote the script (of course!). But in his defense - the ad is a :30 and it took like :29. That is, after I edited out all the train wrecks caused by "stressless recliner".

When a "hurry now" script comes in under time it's a miracle.
