Peter, I think it's pretty clear this was an innocent exercise— not meant to belittle a shakeup in the announcing personnel, since you plainly didn't know about it. It's all in good fun, and in reality, if this exercise even shows up on their radar, I'd bet it doesn't pester anyone. _________________ DBCooperVO.com

i can see your point, peter, but clearly there is a history of these faux-ditions - and as is the case here - they were all in good fun. i hate to see ANYBODY lose his gig - but i don't think continuing ... or discontinuing, for that matter, will bother anyone at all. _________________ "i know philip banks": todd ellis

Peter, your faux-auditions pre-empted what actually happened and it was all in good fun... please don't let the fact that Dinne sawyer actually gt a new announcer detract from the fact that my read kicked the crap out of everyone elses Mickey Mouse efforts and that I have won the lamborghini, as you PM'd me!
Merry Christmas and I'm looking forward to hosting you and your wife for dinner on Boxing day as discussed. x _________________ https://www.darrenaltman.com/

Hey, Peter....I don't think you have anything to worry about.
As Todd pointed out, this is part of a tradition that pre-dates this particular event.
It's all in good fun, so I say....let the competition continue! _________________ Liz de Nesnera O.A.V. ~ Livin' The VO Dream!

OK, well then, we'll keep it going.
Usually I am too "bull in china shop" to not stop and think about it.
Now maybe I've over thunk it.
Better to over thunk than under thunk I guess.
Game on!

V123?
Nah, pop=month at V123.
$180 less commissions. Hey, it almost pays for your membership! _________________ - Peter
