"Wonderful Christmastime" By McCartney and Wings..
Love Paul, but that song , well...

I agree that Andy Williams' version of 'It's The Most Wonderful Time of the Year' is a great Christmas song. But I love creativity, too, and what Staples' ad agency did with it a few years back still rates high in my book:

I'll third the Andy Williams version of "It's The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year". Definitely my fav!
Followed by the Barry Manilow/Expose version of "Jingle Bells" that's a redo of the Bing Crosby/Andrews Sisters version from the 40s. Can't help but sing and snap your fingers to that one. _________________ Jim Feldman

I would have to agree with Ben on 'Christmastime is here'...infact all of Vince Guaraldi's Peanut's Halloween/Christmas tunes are just the best.
ELP's 'I belive in Father Christmas' and Burl Ives 'Silver and Gold' are 2 other particular favorites of mine. |

Oh yes, the Peanut's Christmas tunes by Guaraldi are fantastic, especially for those of us who grew up with the Peanuts cartoons.
I also have a soft spot for the more whimsical tunes too, such as: "I'm gettin' nuttin' for Christmas" and "I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas". They put a smile on my face every time I hear them. |

Any and all versions of the Carol of the Bells. In high school, without any musical training, I was taught to play it by ear with brass hand bells. There I was, dressed in a tux and white gloves ringing bells like mad man. I'll tell ya, I was in a sweat by the end...regardless how cold it was. Then, when I want to rock to it...

Someone who's close to Pam please check on her.
I think she's having another episode.
Then again, she's always marched to the beat of a different drummer
Pam, if you can hear me, Merry Christmas, dear.

Pam's OK. It say's "holiday song," Doesn't specify which holiday. I'm kinda partial to the 4th of July, myself. Much warmer weather. _________________ Lee Gordon, O.A.V.
