Perhaps I should update the n0t3 to n00bz warning that folks dropping in for a critique are likely to be ignored.

Although recently, it's been pretty generous and lively in there. Must be spring or something.

I believe that anyone seeking free advice here should be realistic enough to know that they may not get it, and be gracious about whatever advice they get or don't get.

But then again realism and voiceover aspirations don't always go together, do they?

I believe the reason is: the Critique section here on the VO-BB is the only place available where a new talent can receive strong, professional, quality, honest critiques without any smoke being blown up --- well you know where.

And, the word is getting around.

yeah but when we're honest, we also get accused of being aloof and clicky we can't win.

we don't say all the new demos suck....just most of them.
