you know the ones - cafepress, etc ... is there one better than others? i know the vo-bb shirt i got from cafepress was silkscreened - that would be an absolute - over transfer, that is.
anybody have any good ... or bad experiences? _________________ "i know philip banks": todd ellis

I've been very pleased with Cafe Press and very displeased with Printfection. _________________ the Amy Snively family of brands for all your branded thing needs.

The print quality on the shirts was really bad. Not crisp and pretty like CafePress. To their credit, when I complained they sent me replacements that were better than the originals (not as good as CafePress, though), but since the event the shirts were for had come and gone, it was small consolation.
Here's the design. There was a lot of black, as you can see, but the black looked dusty and worn/faded. Plus there was a weird white outline around everything on just one of the shirts.

Have you checked out Zazzle?
http://www.zazzle.com/
I've ordered a couple text-only custom shirts through them, and have been fairly pleased with the quality. One hitch is when you specify a non-white colored text on a dark shirt. They have to print the text with a white background before the color is laid down, and on one of the shirts I ordered, the registration between the white and color layers wasn't spot-on. I haven't ordered any image-based products, though, so I can't speak to the quality of those items. I've also only ordered single shirts so far -- no large quantities -- so perhaps they take a bit more care with larger runs. _________________ Justin S. Barrett
