To the tech geniuses that abound here, is there a way to automate or copy/paste cross fades? I'm debreathing, always fun, and it takes forever to go to the bottom of each cut and put in a cross fade. Any suggestions? Other than making myself a no-breathing person?

Pam,

When I'm editing in files that are pretty clean in Pro Tools, I often don't bother with the cross fades. Cross fading is only really needed where you could have visible wave forms. At least most of the time. If you hear a "pop" or click when playing back, put a cross fade in. Otherwise, it should play clean.

What Bob said. At least that way (in whichever editor I'm using) has always worked for me.
