ISDN session yesterday evening with a studio in Chicago. Ad agency had a brief to sell "without the children" short breaks in nice hotels. My wife for the hour was a VO called Maggie. Exchanges between me and her before we did take 1 were, yes, no, right, ok, hello and very little else.
TAKE 1 - Rolling.
I get to the line "......or we could simply spend the evening making love on the moonlit beach"
In my headphone there is nothing but silence. I thought the ISDN line had gone phut!
"Maggie?" says Ellis our director over the talk back, sounding a little concerned. I heard Maggie swallow and take a deep breath.
"Sorry guys. Philip just hit me right in about 5 erogenous zones" she replied with that, where am I, tone of voice.
My turn to delay the session. No idea why I found it so funny, I just did. I laughed so much I made myself cry.
