I've had no problems installing the Centrance Universal Driver and getting the Mic Port Pro to record in Audition 1.5. I decided to use 1.5 because I also thought it was the most stable version of Audition, and I'm using a Dell mini. I would think that 1.5 would be a bit more stripped down for a underpowered machine and WIN XP
in the Main Options > Device settings, I've unchecked 'try as WDM", selected 4 byte PCM, and am recording at 44khz/32bit
so far, I've gotten a clean signal...no issues SO FAR
I'm about to take this thing out on the road and was wondering if anyone had any issues with a similiar type setup as mine. |

I haven't had any problems on my Compaq laptop running 1.5 on XP! I've used it a lot, and it's been 100% fine. _________________ the Amy Snively family of brands for all your branded thing needs.

I'm setting up the Micport Pro using Adobe Audition 3
I've done the usual set up in the control panel on the laptop so
Inputs and Outputs are set at Cetrance -the Micport setting.
It records but plays back through the laptop speakers. I've tried various things and none have worked yet--Suggestions? |
