When my grandparents would visit back in the 60s, they'd sit outside on sunny afternoons. But that would end abruptly at 4, when it was time to come inside because Art Linkletter was on TV.

Sad news, indeed. I remember finding a hardback copy of "Kids Say the Darndest Things" on my parents' bookshelf when I was a youth. Sadly I didn't have the patience to get past the first chapter back then, but I enjoyed what I read very much, and kept sharing my favorite parts w/ family members over and over. I wonder if my folks still have that book, and if they'd be willing to part with it.  _________________ Justin S. Barrett
