As I type, Philip had already pre-ignored this post.
Broadcast Southwest is selling the 416MKH shotguns for $999 right now, just in case you're in the market. They list for $1,600 and usually retail for around $1,299, so it's a deal.

A good voice will sound good on a 416. If you're doing commercials or promos, these things really pop! A commanding, in your face sound
that works great for selling. I use it on myself and my wife, a very in demand talent, and it works great on both voices.
I've owned all the usual suspects and it is the best to my ear.
$999 is a very good price for this awesome tool. _________________ www.asapaudio.com |

Being in L.A., this is the thing that gets pointed at me all the time. I keep thinking it would be nice to have one handy at home, for when I need to match a quick tag or something... _________________ the Amy Snively family of brands for all your branded thing needs.

Did you know that for about the price of a tank of premium gas per day, you could sponsor a needy 416 shotgun mic? There are countless 416s that are longing for a home, but most will go unused and neglected on a supplier's shelf. However, with your non-tax-deductible donation of $999, we'll see to it that a deserving 416 finds a warm, loving home in a voiceover talent's studio in the far suburbs of Dallas, TX. To help you feel connected to your sponsored mic, we'll send you frequent photos of your 416 and his foster talent during audition and job sessions. Not only that, but we'll include reports of the clients whose jobs have been voiced with the help of your sponsored mic.
You may not be able to help all the 416s of the world find caring homes, but perhaps you could help just one. _________________ Justin S. Barrett

Justin,
Inspired! I'm glad to say I'm all ready caring for one of these unfortunate, uh, souls in my own home studio so I can testify to the joy it brings. _________________ Be well,
