ok, just remember... i have zero background in radio or any other area regarding audio... just vo. I know this is a stupid question...
for my high school reunion, the committee thought it would be cute to do a vo narration, paired with music in various places. i've done the vo in one (mono) track) and the music is in a second track (stereo) below it. I've "consolidated" them, but they still appear on separate tracks. Then, I bounced to mp3... and they're still on separate tracks/mp3s. How do I make this all one mp3 so I can send it to the committee??
thank you very much in advance. _________________ Caryn Clark... The Hip Chick Voice!

Caryn,
I don't have Pro Tools, I use GoldWave. Could your problem be trying to consolidate a mono track and a stereo track? In GoldWave I've mixed vocals and music, but they were both mono... with no problem. _________________ "Bailey"

Sounds good, DB.
Now maybe you can tell me how to get the pre-roll off my audition session. Somehow I added a 4 second pre-roll pause before the recording starts and I have been banging my head against the wall trying to figure out how to remove it. I know I can start a new session from scratch....but it became a challenge after I couldn't figure it out. And the "help button" in the menu doesn't seem to bring anything up.
Any ideas? The pre-roll in the transport shows 0:00:00. But the record/play buttons still flash 4 times/ 4 seconds before recording starts.
I know it is probably a super easy fix...but I haven't figured it out yet. _________________ Ben

Expand your transport window.
You should be able to reset/delete the pre roll time from there. _________________ DBCooperVO.com

DB, I had deleted the time in there awhile back. It shows zeros. I am stumped. I am gonna start a new session. I have tried everything. _________________ Ben

Ben,
Have you tried actually typing zeros in there instead of deleting the time? I'm not positive, but it might make a difference. _________________ Be well,
