VO-BB - 20 YEARS OLD!

As some of you may know, I am the creator and moderator of the Voice Over Professionals group on LinkedIn. As such, I am the "gatekeeper" who determines which requests for membership get accepted and which ones don't.

If it is obvious from your LinkedIn profile that you are an actual voiceoverist (even a beginner), I approve your membership. If there is nothing in your profile to indicate you do VO or are in a position to offer work to voiceoverists, or if I don't recognize your name from your VO-BB participation, I wait to receive an e-mail in support of your membership request, just as LinkedIn suggests.

Today I received one such e-mail, the text of which, in its entirety, was as follows: "Hey this has been pendign for a while...any reasons for delay"
(the punctuation you see is exactly as written).

You can imagine how quickly I snapped to attention to let this guy in. Not. And, as it turns out, he spared me the decision because a quick check of the list of yet to be approved applications shows his name is nowhere to be found.
