Yes, I hope I communicated to you to ignore the Flash and just focus on the general design ideas for some inspiration. Elaborate Flash animation is a huge waste of money and web resources for most of us. Visitors (buyers) just want to hear if you have the talent they need, and a pleasant and appropriate site design hopefully helps to reinforce their good impression of you.

Great tip: if you're gonna hire a graphic artist, don't. Well, not yet anyway. First, hire a copywriter to help you narrow your focus and help you figure out (in words) the best way to present yourself to potential clients. A few well-chosen words or sentences can really help a graphic artist come up with something that communicates your brand effectively. |
This is really, really, REALLY good advice. |
Thanks, Bob!
And you're exactly right...give a good graphic artist the right concept, and they can do great work. Give a great graphic artist a vague, clichéd suggestion, and that's what your logo will look like. _________________ Doug Turkel (tur-KELL)

Acoustics are counter-intuitive. If one thing is certain about acoustics, it is that if anything seems obvious it is probably wrong. |

Hello again fantastic VO friends,
I've been looking at copywriters on the internet, freelance mostly and there's a few I want to contact but it just occurred to me that most of them have probably never worked on a VO website.
Does that matter?
Please let me know!

No, really it shouldn't. They'll need to ask questions and learn the product (you) just as they would with any other project. Now it may help if they've had a hand in producing VO, or writing for VO, but not absolutely critical. Basically you're looking for help creating a brand for a business (which just happens to be VO). _________________ Bob Ransom
