VO-BB - 20 YEARS OLD!

I was recently hired by the University of Tennessee to be a main voice on the Jumbotron at Neyland Stadium. For those who don't know, the Tennessee stadium is one of the largest in the country and is sold out every home game. 107,000 fans will hear me every week in the stadium, plus the cuts will run in the game replay on a network throughout the southeast.

The coolest part is, my whole family LOVES Tennessee football, so I made them all proud. I went to the first game last Saturday and when my voice came on, my brother almost came out of his seat...telling everyone around us "that's his voice, my brother!" Smile

Yep, back when I lived in Lexington, KY I remember well driving down for the big Cats-Vols football game. I got so sick of hearing Rocky Top. (For the uninitiated, Rocky Top is the UT fight song, played after EVERY TOUCHDOWN, and there are plenty!)

Congratulations on the new gig...it sounds fantastic!

Thanks everybody!

I've been going to games there since I was an small child, so it was kind of surreal to hear myself on the jumbotron.

Looks like I have a good foot in the door with the group that handles all media there now, which is a big plus.
