Roll it out! Game World October 23rd.
Timothy Cubbison from Blindlight will be working with Pat for the 1st time, and I'll be crashing the party with some how-to's for exertion sounds.
It's a pretty bad ass event if you really want to see what VG VO is like.

Pat Fraley's Game World Event with Todd Resnick, Tim Cubbison and our own illustrious VO-BB host DB Cooper was incredibly informative, allowing participants to work with three different directors (including Pat). For newbies it gave a really good taste of what is asked for, demanded, expected of game voice talent vs. animation - and they are two different animals indeed.
A highlight was DB's demonstration of how to make authentic "exertion sounds" (punching or being punched, e.g.) Quite a workout and not for those who aren't familiar with correct breathing technique.
Highly recommended. It was such a nice group of attendees, as well.
