Is it just me, or is everyone experiencing..."Audiobook FEVER?!"
It seems like everywhere I turn there's talk of what a growing and lucrative field this is. Sure, there's a LOT of work involved, but I hear some individuals have found it "pleasant to their pocketbook."
If you're seriously interested in narration for Audiobooks, make plans to be in Seattle November 20th for Pat Fraley and Carrington MacDuffie.
Pat has helped guide more performers to book deals than anyone in the history of Audiobooks. Carrington MacDuffie boasts several Audiofile Earphones Awards and has been nominated for multiple Audie Awards!
Pat explains it better here with a click to this link:

By the way, should you desire...you'll walk away with a complete, ready-to-submit-for-auditions demo!
Bagels and coffee will be served in the morning along with top notch deli delights from the Metropolitan Market. Deeelish!
Payment plans are available too! Just contact Pat to work out the details.
$595 -

Just a note here— The TWO-DAY event in LA will provide you with your demo.
The ONE-DAY Seattle event gives you tracks you can use for a demo. _________________ DBCooperVO.com

Thanks for this, but Pat has said you may choose to have them edited and mastered for a modest additional fee of $200.
Nothing against the two day LA event, that's awesome...but this will be a boon for the Northwest talent who can't make it to California! _________________ Scott Burns

It's great to see that Pat is venturing north. Has he ever considered taking this course any farther east? _________________ Justin S. Barrett

Hey Scott, welcome to the board.
For those who don't know, Scott graciously threw me a gig back when I first got laid off. Karmically, I'm indebted to him. And I never forget friends who give me a boost.
Anyway, back to the Fraley commercial. _________________ Jeff

Good question! I know he's done work in Chicago before. You can reach him at patfraleyteaches@aol.com or through his website: patfraley.com _________________ Scott Burns

Too funny! (re: Fraley commercial) I just want as many NW talent to be aware that an opportunity exists to get some big time feedback on a subject not generally taught in this area.
And actually Jeff, you can actually thank Kendra Kampanile-Hubble for connecting our dots! Your former Microsoft co-worker was once our producer for the Sammye and Burns show on Young Country. (She was WAY overqualified for the job...and just the best) _________________ Scott Burns

Which by default means I lived with her, too. Been trying to get her behind the mic, but so far, no such luck. _________________ Jeff
