Reminds me very much of an audiobook I'm listening to: A Plum In Your Mouth. In fact, I think the link was provided here on the forum for a free download of the audiobook. Quite interesting stuff.

Anthony, A treasure of a website indeed! I couldn't stop listening once I started. A great place to study and pick up an accent that's more specific to a community of region. I bookmarked it and will visit it often.

Glad you enjoyed it. I wouldn't even attempt to learn a new accent. I'm just fascinated by speech in general and the varieties of the "same" language throughout the world. It's also a reminder that the US doesn't own English or any "standard" of it - we just have a bastard tongue (or many little bastards for that matter.)
