I like that they're doing it almost a capella -- only after they started did the little organ music come on. I figure the woman who started it must have been getting a tuning note through her cell phone. Very nicely done! Although not religious myself, I'm a huge fan of the Handel Bars, especially when they are performed as well as these people did.

Smile

In the choir I used to belong to, this was a perennial favorite, and we'd frequently do a massed choir thing with other area groups. Pair it with a good organist and you've got an amazing piece of art.

How's THIS for a Flashmob? Lots of my muso friends are in this and they rehearsed for a week!

Coincidentally, the guy with the shades on being 'punked' is also a musician (currently on tour with Jamie Cullum) and had just landed at Heathrow with a massive hangover, hence the shades, only to be greeted by his mates filming a massive T-Mobile ad campaign!!

[720HD full screen if you please... and don't cry!!]

How come these things never happen in the airport when I fly? I just get TSA and a surly greeter at the International Arrivals door. ...

very cool!

Here's another take on the Handel Bars:
