There is no I in team but in "What really sucks?" There U R, one only has to look.

Starting Monday , that'll be today, and continuing for one week. Accept all the credit, take full responsibility and apportion blame to no one including yourself. If you're able to do this for a full 21 days it'll become a habit, a completely fabby habit.

A year or so ago my friend Alison sighed after a long conversation with Fraser, the man who wrote THE book on marketing "I just don't know what the problem is"

"Basically, you are" replied Fraser.

Philip,

I don't know about the U.K., but here in the colonies, one of the basic building blocks of life is our great ability to not take responsibility for our actions.

If you've watched much American football, then you would know the only reason any team is ever victorious is because God took a personal interest in the outcome of the game. It would be nice however, if once in a while the losing team would do the right thing and simply blame God for thier loss.

Aside from this, one must understand that the United States is neither a democracy or Republic, but is a nation based on litigation.

What you are suggesting is the greatest form of anarchy. One that could lead to the very unraveling of the fabric of this nation's underbelly.

The ability to blame others for our failures and shortcomings, as well as allow others to take responsibility for our triumphs is as American as Shephard's pie or Lasagna.

I suggest you watch some re-runs of Married With children, before you suggest such treasanous concepts again.

Merry Kringle.

A player in Buffalo sort of did this after dropping a touchdown pass a couple weeks ago: linky

If Philip does this and his brain turns to mush, it will be your fault.

I would suggest that if Philip does this, there is no question that his brain will turn to mush. DON'T DO IT, PHILIP!

Oh, now, don't take the blame, Buffalo. We all know Denver has the worst team ever. And they have God-loving Tim Tebow, and that hasn't really helped them.

Married with Children was my ex's favorite show. That should've been my first clue, huh?

Caryn,

I hate to say it, but you're right about that first clue thing.

Ha ha... yes, Bob, I've learned not to ignore my intuition and make excuses for other people's poor behavior and choices. Including the TV shows they prefer.

It only took me 10 years.

He can fix that by immediately watching Married's Katey Sagal in Sons of Anarchy - proof that redemption is possible.
